Rick Russell
Rick Russell is currently the President of Millard Lumber Inc., which was founded by his parents in 1948 and now has operations in Omaha, Lincoln, and Des Moines. Mr. Russell also serves as a trustee of the Peter Kiewit Foundation and a director of Great Western Bank. Over the years he has been active in many other organizations including the Nebraska Lumbermen’s Association, Metropolitan Omaha Builder’s Association, Children’s Hospital, Nebraska State Chamber, United Way of the Midlands, Omaha Public Libraries, Omaha Children’s Museum , and many more. Mr. Russell has also been honored as a member of the Hall of fame by the Millard Public Schools Foundation and Millard South High School. He and his family received the Family Leadership Award from Family Services in 2002 and Rick & his wife, Carol, received the Philanthropy Award from NCCJ in 2004. Mr. Russell graduated with a BS in Economics from the University of Nebraska and an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University.
