This competition provides University of Nebraska–Lincoln students the opportunity to compete
in a business planning competition to get feedback and funding.
- Competition is open to UNL students (must apply in advance)
- Learning programs and competition events open to all students and business community
- New grand prize of up to $50,000; money must be used to start a business
- Additional first, second and third prizes for both graduate and undergraduate categories
- Winner has automatic entry into the UNL Global New Venture Competition
Faculty and graduate students are invited to learn about entrepreneurship research at this round
table. UNL Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development Prem Paul will join Theresa Welbourne,
Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship, to discuss current and emerging trends in the fields of
entrepreneurship and research.

The 2013 UNL Distinguished Entrepreneur Awards will bring together University of Nebraska faculty and
students, business executives and past award winners with enterpreneurship students and advisors from around
the world. Activities include networking sessions, student trade show and awards ceremony.
