Admission Requirements

The MAIAA Program admits only 12 students each fall. These 12 students matriculate through each class of the program together.

Required Prerequisite Course: Statistics

  • Complete the online application
  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
  • Transcripts from all institutions attended
  • GMAT Score
  • List of three reference names and contact information
    • Three individual reference names are required when applying. All three contacts must be former or current supervisors or professors. The references will be contacted only if the committee deems it necessary. No recommendation letters are needed.
  • Personal Statement
    • All applicants are required to submit a personal statement through GAMES. It should include the following:
      • Briefly describe your past professional experience and relevant skills.
      • What would you contribute to our MAIAA program?
      • What are some of your short and long term professional goals?
      • How would completing the MAIAA program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln assist you in achieving your goals?
      • The statement is evaluated on content, sentence structure and grammar. Word limit: 750 words or less
  • Resume
    • A professional resume should be submitted through GAMES. Please include the following:
      • Relevant Work Experience
      • Education
      • Skills and Involvement

GMAT Information

It is advised to take time to study and prepare well for the GMAT prior to taking the test as this is a key indicator in the admissions process. Use the following link for study resources as well as to find a testing center close to you.

The GRE is also accepted and will be converted to a GMAT score for admissions purposes.
