Current Student Scholarships Learn More
  • Awards: The College of Business Administration (CBA) is awarding over $550,000 in scholarships this year to current undergraduate students pursuing a degree in CBA.
  • Criteria: While academic standing plays a large part in awarding scholarships, other factors such as financial need, major, membership in student organizations, and special interests, etc., are also used to determine recipients.
  • Our Guarantee – The College will guarantee scholarship funding (with fund amounts varying each year) for all currently enrolled CBA students who meet the application and qualification requirements (item #1 below) and have a 3.7 (or higher) cumulative grade point average at the end of the spring semester.

Application and Qualifications

To qualify for CBA scholarships, business students must:

  • be enrolled full-time as a CBA student at the time of application
    a drop to part-time status will result in a loss of the scholarship
  • be enrolled full-time as a CBA student at the time the scholarship is paid
    - mid-year graduates will receive only one semester of support
  • have completed 12 hours of credit in CBA by January 1

Farm Credit Services Scholarship

Farm Credit Services of America awards six scholarships in the amount of $2,500 to UNL students for each academic year.

Selection Criteria
  • College Junior or Senior in good academic standing for the academic year scholarship is received.
  • Enrolled in the College of Agricultural and/or College of Business with coursework emphasis in Agribusiness, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 preferred.
  • Preference is given to residents of Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota or Wyoming.
  • One- to two-page essay explaining your career plans following graduation.
  • Must have an agricultural background or work-related experience in agriculture.

Application forms are available in the Marketing Department office, 310 CBA or download at www.fcsamerica.com under Products + Services, Young & Beginning, College Scholarships after January 1.

Completed application forms along with the essay must be returned to the Marketing Department office by March 1. Contact Michelle Jacobs for more information. Recipients of the scholarship will be notified from Farm Credit Services of America. The scholarship is sent directly to the University and applied to your student account ($1,250 for fall and spring semesters).
