Academic Adviser

This person provides academic advice and identifies appropriate resources and opportunities available in CBA and the University; counsels students in achieving educational and career objectives and educates students on requirements, policies and procedures of the College of Business Administration. Candidates should possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be detail-oriented.

Receptionist

This person greets and assists visitors and directs phone calls and performs clerical duties, such as scheduling appointments, data entry, filing, mailings, etc. Strong communication and organizational skills are needed, as well as the ability to prioritize.

Instructional Assistant (Volunteer)

This person assists with class instruction and teaches a recitation section. Candidates should possess excellent organizational, communication, and decision making skills and experience in a leadership role or responsibilities. Classroom or team-leading experience along with a dynamic interest in working with adults is preferred.

Staff Assistant

This person assists permanent staff members with projects, mailings, research, data entry, etc. Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and InDesign preferred, but not required. Organizational and prioritization skills, along with the ability to work independently are necessary.

Study Abroad Program Assistant

Duties include coordinating recruitment for next year’s program, visiting with students about the program, coordinating information sessions for participants, planning and managing special events, designing and mailing participant newsletters. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential for this position. Experience working with Excel, PageMaker and Word are preferred but not required.

Ambassador (Volunteer)

Student Ambassadors represent the College of Business Administration during the academic school year at various recruitment activities. Candidates must be enrolled full-time in the College of Business Administration, be at least a sophomore in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative gpa of 2.5, be able to relate to students from various regional and ethnic backgrounds and be available to assist during the academic school year.
