Over 400 CBA Students Graduate at Spring 2012 Ceremony
More than 400 students graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration this spring. They were part of the largest graduation class in the history of UNL with over 2,800 students receiving degrees.

Reinertson Brothers Continue Husker Tradition of Academic Success
Brothers Jordan and Josh Reinertson, who came to the College of Business Administration from Gibbon, Neb., were both awarded the distinction of Highest Honors for their academic achievements at the 2012 Student-Athlete Recognition Banquet. Overall, 84 CBA student-athletes were honored -- the most of any college.

The UNL College of Business Administration had 13 faculty and staff members honored by the UNL Teaching Council and UNL Parents Association at an annual recognition ceremony on Feb. 3. Four of the recipients were first time awardees.

The Business Ethics program at the UNL College of Business Administration is ranked as the third strongest program in the Big Ten conference by Businessweek. The program is integrated into over 90 percent of business classes and visiting speakers are a large component of the program.

Fraud Examination Students Learn Assessment Skills on Real World Project
College of Business Administration accountancy students who take the Fraud Examination class are learning exactly what it takes to prevent fraud. Dr. Janice Lawrence is helping students take on real world fraud risk assessment reviews of local non-profits that benefit both the community and the students.

ConAgra Finance Manager Tess Campos Speaks to Accounting Students at CBA
Tess Campos, a finance manager of internal audit at ConAgra Foods, recently spoke to CBA students in the Intermediate Accounting II class. The class focuses specifically on ConAgra's financial statements to learn how accounting disclosures in a company relate to textbook examples.
