Jiri Tresl Inspires Students and Teachers While Earning His Ph.D. in Finance
Jiri Tresl, a finance Ph.D. student at the College of Business Administration, has covered a lot of distance in his academic pursuits. Tresl has lived in three countries and attended a variety of schools, but perhaps nowhere has his academic success flourished as it has at Nebraska.

Over 400 CBA Students Graduate at Spring 2012 Ceremony
More than 400 students graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration this spring. They were part of the largest graduation class in the history of UNL with over 2,800 students receiving degrees.

Reinertson Brothers Continue Husker Tradition of Academic Success
Brothers Jordan and Josh Reinertson, who came to the College of Business Administration from Gibbon, Neb., were both awarded the distinction of Highest Honors for their academic achievements at the 2012 Student-Athlete Recognition Banquet. Overall, 84 CBA student-athletes were honored -- the most of any college.

Faculty Awards Recognize Excellence at CBA
The Faculty Awards Reception for the College of Business Administration was held, Wednesday, April 25 at the Van Brunt Visitors Center. Dr. Donde Plowman, the James, Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of CBA, presented the awards to the ten award recipients.

Shannon McCoy Studies Financial Literacy in UCARE Project
The UNL UCARE program allows undergraduate students the chance to practice developing their own research project under the tutelage of a faculty sponsor. Shannon McCoy was one of 17 business students who worked on a UCARE project this past school year.

Annual Drake Exchange Broadens Boundaries for UNL Actuarial Science Students
The UNL-Drake Exchange is an annual event that lets students from the two school's actuarial science programs share social and educational experiences in a fun and relaxed environment. This year it was Drake's turn to host the students as the UNL contingent visited their counterparts in Des Moines, Iowa.
