Actuarial Advisory Board

Since its establishment in 1957, the Nebraska Actuaries Club has had a Committee to provide advisory and financial support to the Actuarial Science Program. On June 13, 2011, the Club approved changes in the name and composition of the group. The name is now "Advisory Board for UNL's Actuarial Science Program". Changing the name makes the group’s name more descriptive of its purposes and more consistent with other UNL College of Business Advisory Boards. The change in the Advisory Board membership eligibility is to include individuals, regardless of company affiliation, who have made a personal financial contribution in the last 12 months to support the Program. This change expands the potential membership on the Board, and reflects the desire to include alumni and friends of the Program from a wide-range of actuarial employers and geographic locations.
