The UNL Finance department offers undergraduate and doctoral level graduate degrees.
The Actuarial Science program is also housed within the Finance department and has the designation of "Center of Actuarial Excellence" (CAE) from the Society of Actuaries. With the CAE designation the Actuarial Science program has the potential to better attract students and compete for research and education grants. The CAE designation is based on criteria including curriculum, graduate count, faculty composition, connection to industry, research and other factors.
