Business Ethics are Focus for CBA Students
The Business Ethics program at the UNL College of Business Administration is ranked as the third strongest program in the Big Ten conference by Businessweek. The program is integrated into over 90 percent of business classes and visiting speakers are a large component of the program.

MBA Graduate Tyrone Fahie Featured in UNL 'Go Big Red' Video Series
College of Business Administration MBA graduate Tyrone Fahie was recently featured in the UNL 'Go Big Red' video spotlight series. Fahie was awarded the Lott Impact trophy among other recognitions during his time at UNL and currently works at TD Ameritrade in Omaha.

Pi Sigma Epsilon, the only national co-ed fraternity for college students interested in furthering their sales, marketing and management skills, is coming to UNL. Dr. Scott Friend will serve as adviser for the new student organization.

CBA professor Dr. Fred Luthans was given the prestigious Emerald Management Citations of Excellence Awards for 2011. Luthans has been at UNL for over 40 years and remains a recognized leader in business management research throughout the world.

James Bonner came to Nebraska's biggest university from the small town of Battle Creek. Despite some apprehensions of life at a big school, Bonner graduated from CBA with new skills that have already helped him get one small business up and running.

The inaugural Faculty Awards Reception for the College of Business Administration held, Thursday, April 28 at the Visitor’s Center. Dr. Donde Plowman, the James, Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean of CBA, honored six retiring faculty members and presented 10 faculty awards.

Delta Sigma Pi - 35th Annual Spina Bifida Tournament
Each year Delta Sigma Pi sponsors a volleyball/ basketball tournament benefiting the Spina Bifida Association of Star City. This year's tournament will be held on February 11, 2012 at the City Campus Rec Center. It is $35 for a student team and $50 for a non-student team. You may choose which sport you would like to compete in or, if you are feeling overly philanthropic and ambitious, you can register a team for both. The tournament will begin at 10 that morning and will run until most likely 5 p.m.

Business Ethics Program Speaker - Diann Cattani
Diann Cattani has a unique story to tell to students involving her part in embezzling over $400,000 from the very people who treated her as 'family.' They will be able to identify with her, and see themselves in someone raised with strong family values who assumed they would always be honest, decent and moral. The lessons she learned may help others avoid similar temptations and make the hard right choices. She has participated in Scared Straight programs and spoken to both college and professional groups. Diann Cattani will spend time with students during the day on Tuesday, February 14, culminating with her talk at 3:30 pm at the Lied Center.
