How does my funding work?

  • If you are using the G.I. bill you will need to visit the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website to determine the benefits you are eligible for: http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill/ or call the Department of Veterans Affairs office at 1-888-442-4551.
  • You can find a summary of the educational benefits here: http://registrar.unl.edu/chapter-summaries-educational-benefits. Once you know what benefits you will receive, Deb Quinn (dquinn2@unl.edu), the UNL VA clerk on-campus, will assist you in completing the paperwork necessary to receive your funding.
