Kathy Farrell, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s College of Business interim dean for nearly a year, has been named permanent dean of the College of Business pending approval by the Board of Regents, on Dec. 1. Executive Vice Chancellor Donde Plowman announced the appointment.

Enrollment at the new College of Business at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln climbed to 4,462 students this fall. A 14.8 percent increase in first-time freshmen students – with 839 joining the college as of September – spurred the growth. In five years, first-time freshmen have increased by 29.5 percent.

The GMAT measures verbal, mathematical and analytical writing skills for graduate admission and Espy explains learning strategies and approaches to provide a competitive edge.
