The International Business Program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business Administration along with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and Sannam S4 Group / U.S. Business Centers invited companies and institutions from the region to explore and discuss business options and culture in India. Sponsors held a panel and roundtables for discussion on how companies and organizations in the United States can enter the growth economy of India at the event held October 25 in the Nebraska Union.
“India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, and we want to help people explore how they can compete in that high-growth economy,” said Dr. J.K. Osiri, associate professor of practice and director of the international business program. “Bringing experts from all levels together who’ve had success and can share experience in the area not only gives our students an advantage and an international perspective but our alumni and the business community as well.”
The event featured Adrian Mutton, CEO and founder of Sannam S4 and U.S. Business Centers, an international entrepreneur organization; Ken Silverman, head of Sannam S4 and U.S. Business Centers North America; Meredith Bond, director of U.S. Commercial Service; Osiri, and emceed by Lauren Silverman of KX 96.9 FM Radio.
