U.S. News Ranks UNL MBA Program Among Nation’s Best
The part-time MBA program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Business Administration moved up five spots to No. 59 out of the nation’s 344 programs surveyed by U.S. News & World Report. Released March 16, the report recognized the top part-time programs who enable working professionals to take courses in the evenings or on weekends to earn their graduate business degree. The ranking comes on the heels of Financial Times naming the online MBA program as No. 12 in the world

“Our MBA programs are consistently ranked among the best, and this recognition is another indicator of the outstanding quality of world-class business education we provide,” said Dr. Donde Plowman, James Jr. and Susan Stuart Endowed Dean. “Our MBA students receive the same high-quality program whether they take classes on campus, online or both, and are taught by the same renowned professors.”

The UNL MBA program offers a collaborative learning experience where students learn from research-based faculty who are committed to their success. Students can also customize their curriculum by choosing electives to develop specialized knowledge. For more than 50 years, the MBA program has been a leader in providing students with flexible options to complete their degree at a great value.

To be eligible for the ranking, programs must be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and have at least 20 students enrolled. The U.S. News ranking considers five factors: average peer assessment score, the average GMAT score of part-time MBA students entering in fall 2015, their average undergraduate GPA, work experience and the percentage of the fall 2015 MBA enrollment that is part-time.
