Are you an undergraduate running your own businesses while also attending a college or university in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho or Alaska?

If you said yes, you may be eligible to apply for the Northern Region Student Entrepreneur Awards!

You could win cash prizes in the local competition as well as a trip to the Global Student Competition where there are additional cash prizes. Applicants are judged on the success of their business as well as the presentation of the business plan.

Applications are now available and are due March 10, 2006. The first place prize is $2,000 as well as an expenses-paid trip to the Global competition and mentoring by an Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) member. There are additional cash prizes for second and third place.

The Northern Region Student Entrepreneur Award program is hosted by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Applicants and others interested in the program are encouraged to visit the Global Student Entrepreneur Award website at http://www.gsea.org.
