Mentoring by the Masters - Videoconference
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Tuesday, February 26, 2008

We are inviting entrepreneurship students and enthusiasts of all types to participate in an interactive panel discussion with some of Nebraska's successful entrepreneurs. Students, business owners, and community members from across the state will have the rare opportunity to interact with a live panel of entrepreneurial "Masters" via videoconference. The panel will videocast from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Teacher's College room 202, 14th and Vine) to 6 Nebraska Community College host sites. Those who are not able to attend one of the host locations will be able to view the event on their personal computer via web-stream.

For more information or to check out last year's webcast visit the Mentoring by the Masters home page.

Learn about Entrepreneurship

The 24th annual Heartland Conference for Free Enterprise will be held March 5, 2009 at the Embassy Suites Downtown. This annual conference features nationally and locally renowned speakers in multiple tracks targeting both small business owners and those who are interested in starting a business. Please visit the Conference home page for more information.

Two Entrepreneurship Days were held in February 2005. The Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship co-hosted the second annual Arts Entrepreneurship Day with the College of Fine and Performing Arts and the first annual Engineering Entrepreneurship Day with the College of Engineering. Entrepreneurship Days are a great way for students outside of the business college to learn about starting their own businesses in their chosen fields.
