The Fourth Annual Women in Business Benefit:
"Professionalism with Style"
Hosted by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship
and Students in Free Enterprise

Symposium The Fourth Annual Women in Business Benefit displayed a variety of successful companies in the Lincoln surrounding areas, and most were started by women entrepreneurs. This display encouraged unity among students, professionals, and local communities, which strengthens women´s roles in the business world.

The Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship, partnering with UNL Students in Free Enterprise raised money for the YWCA´s nonprofit organization, Job Outfitter´s Dress for Success. Since its formation in 1996, Dress for Success has been helping women enter the workforce and stay employed in over 60 U.S. cities.

In addition to providing a respectable donation to a charity centered on women's needs, a $500 scholarship through Werner Enterprises was awarded to Angel Jennings, a UNL student with remarkable academic achievements, who wishes to own a financial consulting business in the future.

Our goal next year is to continually improve by enhancing networking opportunities.
