Assistant or Associate Professor of Accountancy

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, School of Accountancy invites applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate level to begin in August 2012. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level are required to hold a Ph.D. or DBA degree in accounting, or be near completion of the degree, from an AACSB accredited College of Business. Candidates for Associate Professor are required to hold a Ph.D. or DBA degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited College of Business and have an established record of high quality teaching and research, including publications in the major accounting journals. Senior Assistants or Associates with a record of publications in major accounting journals are encouraged to apply. All areas of teaching and research interest will be considered and we are particularly interested in individuals who are strong organizational citizens and interested in being active members of a rich academic community. The successful candidates will be expected to be significantly involved in the School and College research and graduate programs, including directing doctoral dissertations, mentoring junior faculty (as appropriate), and teaching courses at the undergraduate, Masters, and Ph.D. levels. Salary, benefits, and research support are competitive.
