Biography
Dr. Christopher Tuggle earned his Ph.D. in strategic management and entrepreneurship from Texas A&M University, and an MBA in management from Missouri State University. He joined CBA in 2012. His expertise and research interests focus on boards of directors; corporate entrepreneurship; corporate governance; and strategic leadership. His teaching interests include foundations of strategy and strategic management.

Tuggle’s publications include “Shareholder influence over director nomination via proxy access: Implications for agency conflict and stakeholder value,” Strategic Management Journal; “How to get the board you want: Attracting directors who have social capital,” Journal of Management Studies; and “Attention patterns in the boardroom: How board composition and processes affect discussion of entrepreneurial issues,” Academy of Management Journal.
