Biography
Dr. Jifeng Yu earned his Ph.D. from Georgia State University, and M.S. from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. His research interests focus on alliance networks; innovation; international entrepreneurship; and risk management. His teaching interests are business policy and strategy.

Yu’s publications include “The payback of innovation: empirical evidence from firms that have won innovation awards,” Production and Operations Management; “Effects of alliances, time and network cohesion on the initiation of foreign sales by new ventures,” Strategic Management Journal; “Enterprise risk management: strategic antecedents, risk integration and performance,” North American Actuarial Journal; “Downside risk management of a defined benefit plan considering longevity basis risk,” North American Actuarial Journal; “Pricing mortality securities with correlated morality indices,” Journal of Risk & Insurance;  “Managing capital market and longevity risks in a defined benefit pension plan,” Journal of Risk & Insurance; and “Reinsurance networks and their impact on reinsurance decisions: theory and empirical evidence,” Journal of Risk & Insurance.
