Harold J. Laipply College Professor of Management at the University of Nebraska, where he also serves as Director of Graduate Studies in Management, and was formerly the Director of the Center for Technology Management and Decision Sciences. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Professor Digman specializes in strategic management, strategic decision making, international management, and management of technology.
He has written fourteen books, made contributions to 13 others, and published 34 articles in journals such as the Harvard Business Review, Organizational Dynamics, and Operations Research. Dr. Digman has also written 91 conference proceedings papers, presented 126 professional papers, and authored 27 reports and monographs. He has consulted with numerous private and governmental organizations in North America, Asia, and Western and Eastern Europe.
Dr. Digman is a member of the Strategic Management Society, the Strategic Leadership Forum, the Academy of Management, the Decision Sciences Institute (Charter Member), the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (Founding Member), the MBA Roundtable (Charter Member), the Pan Pacific Business Association (Fellow), and others. He has served as Program Chair and President of the Midwest Decision Sciences Institute, as well as a Fellow of the national organization, Coordinator of the Institute's Doctoral Student Consortium, and as National Vice President. He is listed in Who's Who in America and seven other editions of Who's Who.
