Dr. Matthew J. Cushing is currently a professor of economics at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the faculty advisor of the Economic Graduate Student Association. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Virginia in 1985. His research and teaching focus is in macroeconomics, applied time series and forensic economics.
Dr. Cushing’s research has been published in a variety of journal articles including the Journal of Legal Economics, Journal of Economics and Finance – Science and Education Centre of North America, International Journal of Applied Economics, and more. He is also a current member of the Western Economic Association and the American Economic Association.
