Dr. Meike Eilert received her Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2013. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Management & Marketing) from the Berufsakademie Emsland in Germany and a Master’s Degree in International Business (Strategic Marketing) from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. She joined UNL in 2013.
Her research interests span marketing strategy and corporate social responsibility issues. She examines the influence of brands on consumer and corporate behavior and one of her projects on product recalls has appeared in Journal of Marketing. In addition, she is interested in the prosocial behavior of consumers and organizations and how others perceive these behaviors. A project examining the impact of corporate social responsibility on firm performance has been published in Strategic Management Journal.
