Dr. Samuel Nelson earned his Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, his BBA and MBA from the University of New Mexico. He joined CBA in 2012 and offers expertise in entrepreneurship, strategic decision making, and psychological capital. His teaching interests focus on entrepreneurship and strategy. Nelson’s research interests are corporate persona, entrepreneurship education, and psychological capital.
Nelson’s publications include “Corporate Persona and Optimistic Language in Annual Reports,” Communication and Language Analysis in the Corporate World; and “Institutionalization Strategy Enhancing Firm Resources: Isomorphism from Firms and Its Strategic Implications,” Journal of Management and Strategy.
