The Master’s Degrees in E-Commerce: A Survey Study

Data mining is a powerful tool to aid business in many ways. The paper discusses the approach to integrate data mining into Information Systems classes. The proposed framework is designed for a short format of 2-4 classes, and includes overview of data mining concepts, the most common business application areas, and popular algorithms. A demonstration with a small example is given, and guidelines for selection of methods to cover in business classes are provided.
