Regular advising office hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday through Friday in CBA
114. Our advisers can answer your questions
and you are encouraged to email questions to Ask An Adviser.
Consult the adviser listing below to identify the most appropriate contact.
We also offer walk-in academic advising
on Tuesdays from 8:00-4:30 in the Star Center Advising office in the Abel Sandoz
Residential Hall, room 123. Bede Bolin from the CBA office and Taylor Weichman, a G.A.
Academic Counselor, are available during these times. The phone number there is 402-472-7128.
In addition to our academic advisers, each of you has a faculty adviser. Your adviser
is reported on your Registration Information form that you receive in the mail prior
to the start of each semester. The Undergraduate Advising Office, CBA 114, can also
give you the name of your adviser and information about that individual, as well
as the office number, email, and phone number, which can be found
here.
Although each of you has a faculty adviser, we often times find that you will end
up working with one of your professors. You are welcome to refer to that individual
as your faculty adviser.
Faculty is available to assist you with questions regarding courses in their department.
They can also suggest other courses that may compliment your area of interest. Do
remember, however, that the Undergraduate Advising Office is where you will want
to go to ask about specific degree requirements, how to change your major, and other
questions regarding policies and procedures.
