Actuarial Science Club

All actuarial science students are encouraged to join the UNL Actuarial Science Club, and actively participate in its activities. The purposes of the Club are to: provide students with a better understanding of the actuarial profession and the types of employment available in an actuarial career; promote actuarial science in educational institutions; assist students in preparing for the professional actuarial examinations; and foster close relationships among students in the common pursuit of an actuarial career.

Business Learning Community Student Advisory Board

Anyone who has ever been involved in the Business Learning Community is invited to join this brand new club. The object of LCSAB shall be to provide incoming CBA learning community students with advice and mentorship. Also the LCSAB shall provide guidance to faculty and staff working with the learning community to further implement effective programming. This is a great way to get involved in the life of CBA and give back to students who thrive from mentorship.

Omicron Delta Epsilon

The International Honor Society for Economics – open to undergraduate and graduate students.

ODE’s main objective is to recognize students of high achievement and to promote the study of economics. ODE gives you the opportunity for active involvement but ODE does not require any special commitments.

Membership is open to all students (not simply majors) who have taken at least 12 hours of economics with no grade lower than “B” and achieved an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.0.
