The College offers a bachelor of science in business administration degree, as well
as five masters degrees, three joint masters degrees (juris doctorate/master of
business administration, juris doctorate/master of professional accountancy, and
master of business administration/master of architecture) and two doctor of philosophy
degrees.
Undergraduate students earning a bachelor of science degree may choose a major or

Given the number of elective hours available to most CBA students, consideration
should be given to the opportunity to pursue a dual degree, which allows simultaneous
enrollment in CBA and another college on campus. Students will need to consult with
both colleges to ensure all requirements are satisfied in a timely, efficient manner
and that double counting of course (where appropriate) is identified in advance
of enrollment.
The faculty of the College encourages students to minor in a discipline outside
the College to develop logical and critical thinking, curiosity, understanding of
the external environment and sensitivity to ethical issues. By developing these
abilities, students can enrich their lives and provide a broader basis for informed
and responsible decision making.

Finance Majors
There are several options available to finance majors:
- General Finance
- Banking and Financial Institutions
- Risk Management and Insurance
- CFA® – Investments Option
Management Majors
Management majors can emphasize areas of concentration in:
- human resources,
- entrepreneurship,
- strategic management, or
- systems and operations management
Marketing Majors
Marketing majors can pursue emphases/tracks in:
- merchandising,
- merchandising/design
- advertising
The College of Business Administration (CBA) has joined with the College of Arts
and Sciences, the College of Engineering, and the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and
Performing Arts to offer a minor in general business to students enrolled in those
colleges.

will be happy to assist you with this process. In additional to University information
on admissions requirements, academic, student life, and value at UNL, they will
also schedule an appointment for you to meet with a CBA representative in the College
