Event Description

Join us on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Noah's Event Venue for the CBA Power Lunch: Innovation: The Key to Your Organization's Survival with Dr. Samuel Nelson.

Companies are faced with continuous pressure to be innovative. They must also innovate in a variety of areas: product development, customer service, marketing and employee engagement. However, the necessary components to driving innovation are also counter intuitive to organizations that have been able to scale successfully. The mechanisms to drive consistency and scalability often conflict with processes needed to foster innovation. Dr. Samuel Nelson, director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and assistant professor of practice in management, will discuss how organizations can strive to find the right balance between these two competing pressures.
