3-2-1 Quick Pitch Competition is Nov. 6, Application Deadline Oct. 23
The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Center for Entrepreneurship will host the sixth annual 3-2-1 Quick Pitch Competition on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Memorial Stadium Club Level Suites. Student will have three minutes to pitch their proposal for a new business venture to a panel of entrepreneurial experts, all while showcasing their creativity, communication and presentation skills in a competitive format.
 
Participants will develop their ideas for new businesses, receive valuable feedback and network with successful entrepreneurs and community leaders while competing for the chance to win one of seven $1,000 cash prizes. The competition is divided into three divisions Nebraska high school, two-year and four-year colleges. Students have the opportunity to listen to other pitches and vote for their favorite pitches for a People’s Choice Award.
 
The competition is open to students from all Nebraska high schools, two-year colleges and four-year colleges. Students can apply by submitting a short summary of their business venture idea by October 23 at http://unlquickpitchcompetitors.splashthat.com/. Space is limited.
 
Local business leaders looking to get involved in the event can also register at http://unlquickpitchjudges.splashthat.com/ to become a judge for the competition.
 
The event is sponsored by Lincoln Industries, Hastings HVAC and Resort Lifestyle Communities.
