Amanda Gonzales

Biography

Dr. Amanda Gonzales received her Ph.D. in accounting from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 2013. She earned her MPA from UNL and her bachelor’s degree in professional accounting and mathematics at Hastings College. Her research interests include financial reporting, capital markets and international accounting.

Her dissertation was titled “Decision Usefulness of the Equity Method of Accounting.” Before going to graduate school at Duke, Gonzales worked at the Financial Accounting Standards Board in Norwalk, Connecticut and was a project manager at the International Accounting Standards Board in London, U.K.
