Biography
Jia (Joya) Yu earned her Ph.D degree in Business Administration from the University of Iowa in 2017. She is currently an assistant professor of management in the College of Business at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her research interests fall in the areas of team microdynamics, social network/social capital, leadership, and organizational research methods. She is particularly interested in exploring how researchers can use various advanced research methods such as social network analysis, Bayesian modeling, big data analysis (machine learning), and qualitative case studies to identify and investigate new and complex phenomena in the workplace. She has published articles in Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics and Organizational Research Methods.
